Hello friends,
I really enjoyed working with this collection. The papers are so nice in texture and I love the hint of olive green. I proved how versatile they are by making a LIFE layout that doesn't have anything to do with winter. I can't wait to put my pictures on these layouts!! Thanks for stopping by!
Hi all,
I just completed another design team project for Heartfelt Creations! I have to admit, I wasn't very fond of the colors at first, but now I can honestly say that I'm in love with the color combo! It grew on me :) When I was assigned to work with this collection I had no idea all the yummy embellishments that it would include. Teresa Collins has outdone herself!!! Check out my youtube video to see the link for the tutorial I followed to make this album (click here to watch). Thanks for stopping by to take a look...
Hello everyone,
After a short and sweet vacation with the family, it's been nice to get back into my craft room and playing with all of my craft yumminess! So, here's my project for this month's challenge, a baby boy card. Although it's simple I had fun making it.
I used Stampin Up papers, a Recollections stamp set, Card Word Puzzle stamp set from CTMH, Outdoor Denim ink, CTMH white embossing powder, CTMH neutral hemp, misc. white button brads, and a light gray 5"x5" card base from Studio G. I hope you'll play along with the monthly challenges at www.adieforasketch.blogspot.ca .Thanks for stopping by!!
Hi everyone!
I made this card for my cousin who is getting married tomorrow. I used a new paper stack from DCWV called "The Formal Affair". (No worries, I'm still following Kay's Paper Challenge) I absolutely LOVE these papers, they're beautiful!! I used Mojo Monday's sketch 252. Thanks for stopping by!
Hey all!
Here are my latest projects for the Heartfelt Creations design team. The first is a Christmas mini made from kraft envelopes. (Yes, Christmas in July!). I used the Christmas Emporium collection by Graphic 45, love it!!!! This is the second one I've ever made.
Next I made some some layouts and cards using the "Down The Boardwalk" collection by We R Memory Keepers. I have to admit that I would normally NOT be attracted to the style or colors of this one, but after using it, I fell in LOVE with the entire collection of papers and embellishments. I love how rustic everything is.
And finally I just completed this photo stand display using papers from the "Nostalgia" collection by My Minds Eye. (Tutorial for photo stand can be found at LakeAvenueDesigns youtube channel.) Wow! Could I just tell you how much I REALLY love this set!?!?!? These colors are gorgeous and the embellishments are so versatile, proof you'll see in the different themes in my cards :)
Here are some cards I made for Father's Day over the weekend. It was both fun and challenging to put these together (no bows or flowers, yikes!!) All were made from scraps, somefrom my beloved CTMH paper collections. The shirt & tie cards were made using Yoli's help (my daughter loves origami!!!). We found a really easy-to-follow tutorial on YT, the channel is TarheelStamper, check it out! Thanks again for watching!!!
Hugs,
Gloria
I'm going to try and be better about actually posting on Fridays, gosh I get so busy and side-tracked with my crafts and putting up the video that I forget about the pics and leave my blog for last, ugh!! So, here's photos of the cards and gift card holders I created using the Snuggle Bug paper collection from K & Co and the Brown Paper pad paper collection also from K & Co. For the last birthday card, I used a sketch from Kristina (YT-starofmay), thanks Kristina!!!!!! Check out my vid on youtube for details on the other products I used and a sneak peak of my next project :) Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate it!!!!
Hugs, Gloria
